The Old Wedgewood Ain't What She Used to Be; The New Thermador Cooktop Is All That and More!
Although the installation is not yet complete, my sister Cinzia asked me to take pictures of my new stove, so I accept her wishes. As you can see, the furniture around the stove is not finished yet, but will be ready soon.
This 5-burner oven from Thermador is rated from 400 to 18,000 BTUs. It is simply amazing. And I am completely amazed.
See the brown burn mark on the wall behind the stove? For years this was done with my good old Wedgwood stove , which went from zero to 500 degrees in exactly 60 seconds and which, despite its quirks, I found hard to part with.
But there was time; Either the house will burn down or we buy a new boiler. Choosing an oven.
A brushed stainless steel sheet will cover the wall behind the stove and give it a beautiful and professional look.
And yes, I cook, but I haven't worked or gotten home long enough to post a recipe.
It will be resolved.
